My passion for design has many layers, but my web repertoire focuses on the creative/visual process, user-experience, and a little front-end development. What lies beneath are clean, thoughtful interfaces that are both engaging and attractive.
Like most designers, I love what I do, but there are many other things that keep me happy. My wonderful wife, badass dog/roomate, kicking it with friends & family, and Florida State football are a few of them. Right now, I'm fortunate to design websites at WIHP Design Lab.
Responsive Web Design
Responsive Web Design is on it's way to becoming the standard in web design. This is an upcoming project that I have had the opportunity to work on and is soon to release.
FloodGate Medical is a small firm with big aspirations. They wanted a design overhaul from their previous site and I was in charge of the art direction. I implemented bright colors and bold typography to the overall look and feel and created a site that was user-friendly, but most importantly, a direct reflection of their core values and future outlook.
I designed the t-shirts for the attendees at Front-End Design Conference in St. Petersburg, FL. It was a fun challenge to try and appeal to both designers and developers, but in the end, I think it did the job. If there's anything I love, it's definitely Front–End Design Conference!
City Names - Typography
I once heard from someone that whatever you do when you are procrastinating from work, is what you should probably be doing for the rest of your life. I always find myself going back to typography when dealing with design. These are a few pieces I did, probably when I should've been doing something else ;)
Mixed Media Piece
This was a personal project I did; to me, this painting represents the stark contrast between chaos and serenity. I used acrylic paint, spray paint, ink pen, and markers.
